Rutgers Gardens: May 29, 2013
Our trip for the fourth marking period was to Rutgers Gardens where we were able to learn lots about various plants and have fun exploring nature. Thank you to Latasha's mom, Keilani's dad, and Destony's mom for coming with us on this trip.
Library Field Trips: April-May 2012
As things got quite busy with all our holiday celebrations in February and March our third marking period trip got pushed back but we were able to visit the library on a number of occasions throughout the spring. The library is a very short walk from our school and so no special funding or chaperones were needed. Each time we visited we got to choose books to read and we were very excited to discover the extensive collection of Mo Willems books.
Aquarium Field Trip: January 9, 2013
Our trip for the second marking period was to the Camden Adventure Aquarium where we were able to learn lots about ocean animals and gather experiences for our descriptive narrative writing. Thank you to Chinua's mom, Adriana's aunt, and Angel's mom for coming with us on this trip.
Farm Field Trip: October 16, 2012
Our trip for the first marking period was to a farm/petting zoo where we were able to learn lots about animals and gather experiences for our narrative writing. Thank you to Destony's mom and Kaden's mom for coming with us on this trip.
